These terms cover CodeGreen Tools, the free calculators, code reference, and NICET practice app published by Code-Green ITM LLC (“we”, “us”). Using the app means you agree to them. This is a separate app from the paid CodeGreen ITM inspection platform, whose own terms are here.
CodeGreen Tools is a set of field calculators, a searchable code reference, a common-violations browser, and free NICET practice papers, built by a practicing fire alarm technician for other technicians. It is free, has no account requirement, no in-app purchases, and no ads.
Every calculator and every reference entry in this app is a planning and reference aid. It is not a reproduction of NFPA, NEC, ICC, or any other standard, and it does not replace reading the actual standard, a code review by a licensed design professional, or sign-off by your authority having jurisdiction. Numbers this app gives you are only as good as what you entered, and you are responsible for verifying anything you rely on before you cut pipe, size a battery, or write up a finding.
This app is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a product of NFPA, NICET, or ICC. NICET practice content is original material written for exam preparation; it is not NICET's own question bank and passing it is not a guarantee of any NICET result.
Calculator entries and NICET practice history are stored locally on your device and are not sent to us. See the Privacy Policy for the full detail. Because none of it is backed up on our end, uninstalling the app deletes it permanently.
The app, its content, and its calculators are owned by Code-Green ITM LLC and protected by intellectual property law. You may use the app for your own work. You may not extract, republish, or redistribute its content or code as your own.
This app is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee it is free of errors, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions made or actions taken based on what it shows you.
We may update the app and these terms. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the update. Material changes will move the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
