Update 2026.09.3: auxiliary systems, and a free trial that keeps its free days
- Auxiliary Systems is a new inspection program. Panic and duress buttons, water and flood sensors, and temperature and freeze sensors, each with the checks its own device type calls for — scheduled, inspected on the phone, reported and invoiced like every other service.
- Subscribe during your free trial and keep the rest of it. Signing up on day 5 of a 60-day trial used to start billing that day. Now the card is taken at checkout and the first payment lands on the day the trial would have ended, so you can subscribe and add users the moment you are happy.
- The update notice reaches every technician, including those who start their day somewhere other than the Jobs list.
- Generate Report knows what the inspection needs next. On a visit that has not been reviewed yet, the button says so instead of sending you to a list the visit is not on.
- Manage grids number new rows from the next free number. A property whose last device is AUX-001 now opens at AUX-002.

Update 2026.09.2: visual inspections and an app that fits your company

- Visual inspections on their own schedule. The look-don't-test visit (NFPA 72 Table 14.3.1 and NFPA 25), with its own frequency, fee, technician, due date and report, and its own line in Recurring Inspection Revenue.
- Fire Alarm is a service you can switch off. Electricians, sprinkler and extinguisher companies untick it and its settings, qualification and guide pages go away.
- AHJ dispatch number only when you do fire alarm. The Fire Marshal Office Number is always required; the dispatch line is asked for only while Fire Alarm is on.
- Panels, host panels and networked systems. Nodes are now panels, sub-panels nest under the panel they are wired to, and a networked panel carries its network node address.
- Panel manufacturer and model on the fire alarm report, and a conventional panel's devices listed by Device Number.
- A heads-up before blanks reach the report. If some devices on a panel have a Sub-Type, Zone, Device Number or Loop and others do not, the office and the phone say so before saving.
- Sub-Types print only when every detector and pull station has one, and a waterflow or tamper switch left blank reads N/A.
- Hybrid panels set up the way they are wired. Silent Knight 5820XL, 6820 and IFP-2000 and Potter AFC, IPA and PFC panels take conventional zones next to the addressable loop.
- Device types from the CodeGreen catalog, with Request a new type for anything not listed.
- "Already scheduled" says who has the visit and when, and you can schedule straight from a property.
- Updates arrive without closing the app: a banner on the Jobs list applies them in one tap.
- You decide which answers are a problem on your own checklists, and which device types a question applies to.

Enter fire alarm devices faster
- Only Device Type and Location are required for an initiating device (plus the floor on a multi-floor building). Sub-Type, Address, Device Number and Loop are recommended, never in the way.
- A repeated address on the same loop is highlighted, and still saves.

Update 2026.09: ten new inspection programs and a dispatch board

- Water-Based Systems per NFPA 25: fire sprinkler, standpipe and hose, private fire service mains, fire pump, water storage tank, water spray, foam-water and water mist, each asked exactly the items due at the visit's interval.
- Fire pump performance curve drawn live on the phone and printed on the report against the manufacturer's curve.
- Kitchen hoods and exhaust cleaning per NFPA 96, and fire doors per NFPA 80 with clearance checks in inches and sixteenths.
- A dispatch board: every technician's week on one screen, with due work ready to drag onto a day.
- Technician qualifications per service, a technician per service on each property, and reassigning a departing user's work in one step.
- Truly offline: build a whole fire alarm system and inspect it with no signal; every register works offline and syncs when signal returns.
- Manage grids for every register, with paste, fill-down and required-field checks.
- Require before and after deficiency photos, your call, in Settings.
- Guides that match the app, on the office and the phone, and a way to report a problem from either.
